Besides the fact that his backing band all look like a bunch of trying-too-hard numpties (and let’s be honest, he’s not doing himself any favours with that undercut..), I really quite love this version of Jenny Was a Friend of Mine.
Soul’s a genre for everyone but the heartless. Can’t get over the immense talent that is Nick Waterhouse & his band. Rhythm for days.
